Which duplicate photos Curalbum finds
It is easy to end up with duplicate photos: a picture is shared, saved again or copied and later turns up several times in your gallery. Curalbum finds these true copies and, in many cases, the same photo when it was saved differently; versions that differ more show up with the similar photos. You see every related picture side by side and immediately know which ones belong together.
Instead of searching through your gallery photo by photo, you can focus on one simple question: Which shot do I want to keep?

You keep what matters to you
With Curalbum, you do not have to rush a decision. You review each group at your own pace and mark the photos you want to keep. Only after you confirm do the other pictures move to your phone's trash. You can restore them for about 30 days using the Photos app on your device. Curalbum itself never deletes anything permanently.
Common questions about duplicate photos
Does Curalbum delete duplicate photos on its own?
No. Curalbum shows you the duplicate photos side by side. You can compare them at your own pace and choose what to keep or move to the trash.
Does Curalbum find the same photo if it was saved differently?
In many cases, yes. Copies that were saved almost identically are grouped as duplicates. If a saved version differs more, it shows up with the similar photos. Either way you see the pictures side by side and decide yourself.
What happens to photos I sort out?
They move to your phone's trash and usually stay there for about 30 days. During that time, you can bring them back using the Photos app on your device. Curalbum itself never deletes photos permanently.
