Are my photos uploaded to the internet?
No. Curalbum looks for duplicate and similar photos directly on your phone. It does not upload any pictures to the internet. You need neither an account nor a sign-in.
What happens to photos I sort out?
After you confirm, they move to your phone's trash and usually stay there for about 30 days. During that time, you can restore them only through the Photos app on your device, not in Curalbum. Curalbum itself never deletes photos permanently.
Does Curalbum delete photos on its own?
No. Curalbum shows duplicate and similar photos side by side. You can review each group at your own pace and decide what should stay or move to the trash.
Does Curalbum tidy up all my photos automatically?
No. Curalbum helps you review photos with care instead of making choices for you. It brings duplicate and similar shots together in clear groups. You make every selection yourself.
Will Curalbum give me more free storage?
When you sort out photos and your phone permanently removes them after the set time, free space may increase. Curalbum's main purpose is to show duplicate and similar photos clearly, so you can make thoughtful choices. The app does not promise a particular amount of free space.
Does Curalbum also find saved WhatsApp images?
Yes, if they appear in your phone's gallery and you have allowed Curalbum to see them. The app looks for duplicates and almost identical images there just like it does with all other photos. There is no separate section only for chat images.
